Gaara had had the Shukaku taken out of his body by force, causing him to die, only to be revived by Chiyo. Chiyo had lost her life by saving Gaara and for that, he was very thankful.
Now that Shukaku was gone, he could finally sleep. He was exhausted by the day and had collapsed, only to wake up here, in his bed. Awhile later, he had fallen asleep again. The silent night was pierced by a moan from the sleeping Gaara. He rolled over. Perspiration
